As I’m sure any indie game dev will tell you, making a big box release is a nightmare. A flimsy flip top box would have been incredibly cheap and easy in comparison. I checked with two dozen custom box makers. Half of them can’t or won’t do it. Most of the others charge a LOT for something so specifically custom. I found only two places that can actually do it at a reasonable cost. The size and style are important. I want to make this box something truly memorable. I want it to be something you’ll be proud to display on your Sierra shelf.
The box was an optional stretch goal from the Kickstarter campaign. After ensuring that all the backers who opted for one will get one, any remaining stock will be available here on a first come, first served basis. Shipping through Canada Post can get expensive unfortunately, as these boxes will be coming directly from me independently of any books you might order.
